Subject: [PATCH 3/5] Read the EP06's SIM over /dev/smd8

The EP06 keeps its AT command processor on smd8. smd7, which the Tplink
and Orbic paths use, is held open by a vendor daemon on this firmware and
never answers, so a read there times out rather than failing cleanly.
